Show Requirements
 |
In signing the DQP Request Form, event management agrees
to abide by the Horse Protection Act (HPA) and its regulations as
amended and the rules of the the Horse Protection Commission, Inc (HPC)
and require all participants of the event to be bound by the same. |

Event management agrees to facilitate the DQPs carrying
out of his/her duties by providing following:
 |
A well lighted inspection area with shelter from the
elements adjacent to an appropriate designated holding area with means
to control crowds or onlookers. |
 |
Table and Chairs as deemed necessary |
 |
Breaks for meals (lunch and/or dinner). |
 |
Any and all information requested by the DQP in regards
to this event |

Inform all the entries that the event is affiliated with
the Horse Protection Commission, Inc(HPC) and that they will be
required to abide by all of its rules and regulations, and only on these
terms will entries be accepted. |

 |
Make the Horse Protection Act and its regulations as well
as the HPC rule book available to all participants in the show office
throughout the duration of the event. These documents will be
provided to the show by the HPC. |

Post Show Reports and Payments
 |
Complete the
Show Managers Report provided to each show and also available from this
website and submit to the HPC all fees as indicated by the report ($5
per horse per day) within 14 days of the close of the show. Checks
should be made payable to the Horse Protection Commission, Inc
and sent to The Horse
Protection Commission, Inc, 544 West Main

DQP's are
employed and to be paid by event management directly at the close of the
show, along with reimbursements for lodging and travel |
 |
Report in
writing any violation by the DQP of the Horse Protection Act and its
regulations and/or the rules of the HPC to the Horse Protection
Commission immediately following the event |
